Think eBikeGo Pvt Ltd, (stylized as eBikeGo)[1], is an Indian electric vehicle[2] manufacturer headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[3][4][5] It was founded by Dr. Irfan Khan[6] and Hari Kiran[7] in 2019. eBikeGo has offices in major cities including Hyderabad and Zirakpur and is operational in 21 states across India. In 2020, eBikeGo signed Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh as its brand ambassador.[8]
eBikeGo has a manufacturing facility located in Pune, Maharashtra. It currently manufactures electric scooters named MUVI 125 5G, CPX Pro along with other electric vehicles like electric motorcycles (TC Max), electric wheelchairs (WHILL), electric cycles (E1, E2, E3, E4), and electric foldable cycles (F1, F2).
eBikeGo raised $ 8.1million of funding during year 2019 to 2023.[9][10] Over the last three years, eBikeGo has also expanded its operations to Oman (UAE), Spain (Europe), and the USA.
eBikeGo was started as a bike rental service in 2019 and later acquired brands like MUVI[11][12] and Velocipedo. It is the official licensee of Acer in india for manufacturing of electric vehicles in India. Additionally, eBikeGo is an authorized partner of Whill in India. eBikeGo is focused on manufacturing sustainable electric vehicles in India and offers a charging solution named ChargeE.
History
2019-2020
eBikeGo was established in 2019 by Dr. Irfan Khan and Hari Kiran in Mumbai, initially as a bike rental service.[13][14] eBikeGo offered electric bikes on subscription in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Amritsar, and Jaipur. During its oprational period, eBikeGo provided mobilty service to companies like Zomato, Swiggy, BigBasket, Shadowfax, Burger King, LaundryAnna and many others. In 2020, the company appointed Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh as its brand ambassador.[15][16][17]
2021
Vajram Electric, a subsidiary company of eBikeGo was formed for the manufacturing and technological aspects of the products.The manufacturing setup is located in Pune, Maharashtra with annual capacity of producing 1,00,000 vehicles. Vajram Electric, is currently manufacturing vehicles like MUVI 125 5G, CPX PRO, TC MAX, SOLO, electric cycles like E1, E2, E3, E4 and electric foldable cycles like F1 & F2
eBikeGo acquired manufacturing and marketing rights for the European e-scooter Muvi as well as manufacturing rights for the electric trike Velocipedo from the Spanish automotive company, Torrot. Later that year, Alparslan Kutukcuoglu joined eBikeGo as International Business Director and a member of the Supervisory Board.[18]
eBikeGo acquired Kustard Technologies (Founded by Javed Khatri[19]) to build Fleet Management System (FMS)[20] to empower delivery firms such as Amazon, Flipkart and BigBasket with updated technologies. Later launched EBG Matics, EBG Matics is a revolutionary technology which is unlike any other telematics device. It analyses rider and vehicle behaviour using AI and Machine learning to track and optimize efficiency for the user.[21]
2022
eBikeGo has acquired the rights to manufacture and market the smart electric trike ‘Velocipedo’ of a Spanish automotive company Torrot in India. With this, eBikeGo is planing to enter the luxury electric three-wheeler industry and aims to manufacture these scooters at its factory in Pune.
In October 2022, eBikeGo appointed Ivan Contreras as CEO to manage their international expansions, previously Contreras worked as CEO for the Spain-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Torrot.[22][23]
2023-present
Japan-based personal mobility solutions provider WHILL entered into the Indian market with a strategic collaboration with electric eBikeGo. eBikeGo is the authorized partner for the manufacturing and distribution of e-wheelchair in India.
eBikeGo became the Acer Official Licensee for the manufacturing of the electric vehicles in India. eBikeGo plans to extend its operations across India with Acer Electric by covering 21 states by 2024 such as Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Delhi, Orissa, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, North East India, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana.
In 2023 eBikeGo appointed former Captain of Indian Squash Team Aditya Jagtap on its Board of Directors.[24] The company also announced the launch of the brand 'MUVI' in international markets, selecting locations like Virginia, Barcelona, and Spain.[25]
Production
eBikeGo began its production facility in Pune, Maharashtra, in 2022[26] through its subsidiary Vajram Electric[27] for the MUVI & Velocipedo brands. The annual production capacity of this plant is 100,000 units. It is spread over the area of 55,000 square feet area.[28] eBikeGo stated that Vajram Electric would manufacture multiple futuristic product portfolios of vehicles for both Indian and international markets.[29][30][31] in 2021 Vajram Electric raised $1.5 Million IN Seed funding.[32][33][34]
Funding
eBikeGo has received funding from many domestic & international investors from 2019 to 2023. In March 2023, a company from Kuwait named Al Tebah and a company from Oman named Muscat International Project Management & Services LLC invested in eBikeGo.[35][36]

eBikeGo has acquired[40] many Indian as well as International electric vehicles brands, also partnered with many companies including:
Torrot MUVI
In 2021 eBikeGo has acquired the manufacturing and marketing rights for European e-scooter Muvi from Spanish automotive company Torrot and aims to launch Muvi in India as well as United States and European Unions.[41][42] Muvi is an IoT and AI-enabled electric vehicle with well-connected features and can be easily controlled and monitored via a smartphone.[43]
Velocipedo
eBikeGo has acquierd the rights to produce the intelligent electric trike 'Velocipedo' from a Spanish automotive company, Torrot,[44][45] for the Indian market. This acquisition enables eBikeGo to enter into the premium electric three-wheeler market, with intentions to manufacture these vehicles at its Pune-based factory. This acquisition is aimed at serving a particular part of the indian transport market, specifically in the electric vehicle (EV) segment.[46]
ACER
eBikeGo[47] has been appointed as the official licensee by Acer for manufacturing electric vehicles in India.[48] The company aims to expand its presence nationwide in collaboration with Acer Electric, encompassing 21 states by 2024.[49][50][51]
WHILL
In 2023, Japanese automotive manufacturer WHILL Entered in to Indian market with its authorized patrtner eBikeGo.[52] eBikeGo holds the authorization for manufacturing and distributing e-wheelchairs in India as a part of this collaboration. The launching event took place in Westin Hyderabad. During the event WHILL launched two of their products Model C2 & Model F mobility chairs for pre-booking in India.[53]

ACER MUVI 125 5G
Launched on Date, this electric scooter has a top speed of 70 km/h, powered by a 3 Ah battery. The batteries are swappable-removable, and it features a 4-inch LCD with Bluetooth support. ACER MUVI 125 5G has a mobile app for remote diagnosis and a hydraulic braking system. It is a signature product of eBikeGo.
ACER CPX PRO
The ACER CPX PRO, a maxi scooter, boasts a maximum speed of 105 km/h. Equipped with amenities such as a reverse button, a central control system controllable through a mobile app, and a 45 ah battery which offers a sophisticated riding experience.
Electric Motorcycle
ACER TC MAX
Comes with a top speed of 95 km/h and an advanced combined braking system. Powered by a 5100W motor with a carbon steel frame and aluminum subframe, and a lithium-ion battery which is removable.
Mini E-Scooter
ACER SOLO
A mini electric scooter with a top speed of 35 km/h and a 24 Ah lithium-ion battery. It can be fully charged in 4 hours.
Electric Kick-Scooter
ACER K1
With a 10 Ah battery, 14' tires, and pneumatic wheels, the top speed of the ACER K1 is 25 km/h. It can be fully charged in 5-6 hours and comes with features like a front-mount basket and adjustable seat.
Standard E-Cycle
ACER E1 & E2: Both models have a 250W motor and a 10 Ah lithium-ion battery, fully chargeable in 4 to 5 hours. The E2 features a Shimano 7-speed gear, with both models offering a top speed of 25 km/h and a removable battery.[55][56]
Premium E-Cycle
ACER E3 & E4: The E3 features a 500W motor and a 480Wh lithium-ion battery, while the E4 has a 250W motor and a 12.5 Ah battery. Both can be fully charged in 4 to 5 hours, offering top speeds of 25 km/h and ranges of roughly 65 km and 45 km, respectively. Each model includes an adaptable seat, built-in LCD display, and gear shifters.
Foldable E-Cycle
ACER F1 & F2: The F1 features a 150W motor and a 7.5 Ah battery, while the F2 has a 250W motor and a 10 Ah battery. Both can be fully charged in 4 to 5 hours, offering a top speed of 25 km/h and a range of roughly 45 km. Each model includes an adaptable seat, with the F2 featuring a Shimano 7 gear shifter.
Electric Wheelchair
WHILL MODEL C2
The Model C2 is a premium, non-foldable electric vehicle designed for off-road performance, featuring WHILL's advanced technology. It offers a drivable distance of 18km on a single charge, supports a maximum load of 115kg, and has adjustable height settings between 74.5cm and 94.5cm. It reaches a maximum speed of 8km/h, with a front omni wheel and rear airless tires, and requires 5 hours for a full charge of its Li-ion battery.
WHILL MODEL F
The Model F is a lightweight, foldable electric vehicle ideal for those with limited storage space, capable of being easily loaded into a car. It provides a drivable distance of 20km on a single charge, has a non-adjustable height of 80cm, and supports a maximum load of 115kg. The Model F also reaches a top speed of 8km/h, features a front caster wheel and rear air tires, and has a 5-hour charge time for its Li-ion battery.
