Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Inc. (formerly Xatrix Entertainment, Inc.) was an American video game developer based in Los Angeles .
History
Gray Matter Interactive was founded as Xatrix Entertainment in 1993 by Drew Markham and Barry Dempsey.[citation needed] The company was renamed Gray Matter Interactive on June 17, 1999,[citation needed] and was acquired by Activision on January 14, 2002.[1][2][3] In 2005, the studio was merged into Treyarch, another California-based Activision studio.[4][5]
