Saffire, Inc., doing business as Saffire Corporation, is an American video game developer located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is known for both porting games and creating original titles. The company was founded as Cygnus Multimedia Productions, Inc. by Les Pardew in his basement in 1993, employing six people in total.
In 1994, it changed its name to Saffire Corporation and was later headed up by Sculptured Software co-founder Hal Rushton. They released their last title, Thunderbirds, in 2004.
