NGC 2357 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Gemini. It was discovered by Édouard Stephan on 6 February 1885.[2]
Supernovae
Two supernovae have been observed in NGC 2357:
- SN 2010bj (Type II-P, mag. 16.1) was discovered by L. Cox and Tim Puckett on 27 March 2010.[3][4]
- SN 2015I (Type Ia, mag. 15.7) was discovered by Toshihide Noguchi on 2 May 2015.[5][6][7]
