NGC 4528 is a barred lenticular galaxy[3] located about 50 million light-years away[4] in the constellation Virgo.[5] It was discovered by astronomer William Herschel on March 15, 1784.[6] The galaxy is a member of the Virgo Cluster.[3][7]
