Eutreptodactylus is an extinct genus of insectivorous bird known from the Early Eocene period (Itaboraian) of Brazil . It was probably the most primitive member of the order Cuculiformes. Fossils have been found in the Itaboraí Formation at São José de Itaborai.[1]
