In enzymology, a cis-1,2-dihydrobenzene-1,2-diol dehydrogenase (EC 1.3.1.19) is an enzyme that catalyzes the chemical reaction

This enzyme belongs to the family of oxidoreductases, specifically those acting on the CH-CH group of donor with NAD+ or NADP+ as acceptor. The systematic name of this enzyme class is cis-1,2-dihydrobenzene-1,2-diol:NAD+ oxidoreductase. Other names in common use include cis-benzene glycol dehydrogenase, cis-1,2-dihydrocyclohexa-3,5-diene (nicotinamide adenine, and dinucleotide) oxidoreductase.
