- isocitrate + NAD+ [math]\displaystyle{ \rightleftharpoons }[/math] 2-oxoglutarate + CO2 + NADH
- homoisocitrate + NAD+ [math]\displaystyle{ \rightleftharpoons }[/math] 2-oxoadipate + CO2 + NADH + H+
