Gliese 167 is a star in the constellation Dorado. It has an apparent magnitude of 7.634.[2] Based on parallax measurements by Gaia, the star is known to be located 42.5 light-years (13.02 parsecs) away.[1]

The star is a K-type main-sequence star.[2] It has 73.6% of the mass of the Sun, and is 71% as wide.[5] It is also cooler than the Sun with a surface temperature of about 4,700 K.[6]
