Neorickettsia sennetsu is a Gram-negative bacterium that causes Sennetsu ehrlichiosis. N. sennetsu is thought to be contracted by eating raw fish.[2]
Genomic data suggests that N. sennetsu is more closely related to N. risticii than N. helminthoeca.[3]
