Development
Panic Bomber was developed by Hudson Soft and Raizing for the Virtual Boy and published by Hudson Soft in Japan on July 21, 1995. The game was later released in North America on December 1995, where Nintendo published it. It was one of Hudson Soft's only game for the system, alongside their scrolling shooter game Vertical Force. Like all other Virtual Boy games, Panic Bomber uses a red-and-black color scheme and uses parallax, an optical trick that is used to simulate a 3D effect.[1]
