Alphalipothrixvirus is a genus of viruses in the family Lipothrixviridae. Archaea serve as natural hosts. The genus contains two species.[1][2]

  • Alphalipothrixvirus umijigokuense (formerly A. SBFV2)[3]
  • Alphalipothrixvirus beppuense (formerly A. SFV1)[4]
