Subphyla

The phylum Negarnaviricota includes all negative-sense single-stranded RNA viruses (group V in Baltimore classification) except Hepatitis delta virus. It is divided into the subphyla Haploviricotina and Polyploviricotina.[1] The name comes from the Latin nega ('negative') plus RNA and -viricota, the suffix for a virus phylum.[1]
