"Candidatus Acetithermum"[1] is a thermophilic[2] bacterial genus, belonging to the monotypic phylum "Acetithermota"[3] and non-monotypic kingdom Thermotogati. It has the sole species "Ca. Acetithermum autotrophicum".[2][1][4]
