3.[1][2]
Synthesis
The compound can be obtained from PaI
5 by heating at 350-380 °C in a continuously pumping vacuum.[3][4]
Physical properties
PaI
3 forms a dark brown solid.[3] The compound has a PaBr
3 crystal structure.[3]
