Aluminium monoiodide is an aluminium(I) compound with the chemical formula [math]\ce{ AlI }[/math]. It is unstable at room temperature due to dismutation:[1]

[math]\ce{ 6AlI -> {Al2I6} + 4Al }[/math]

It forms a cyclic adduct [math]\ce{ Al4I4(NEt3)4 }[/math] with triethylamine.
