This is the pronunciation key for IPA transcriptions of Uzbek on Wikipedia. It provides a set of symbols to represent the pronunciation of Uzbek in Wikipedia articles, and example words that illustrate the sounds that correspond to them. Integrity must be maintained between the key and the transcriptions that link here; do not change any symbol or its value without establishing consensus on the talk page first. |

Notes
- Letters g and k become palatalized (/gʲ/ and /kʲ/ respectively) before the vowels u and a.
- Letters b, v, g, d, z become devoiced when they're the final letters of words.
- t becomes silent if it appears right after another consonant.
- /ʒ/ (for "j"), /o/ (for "o") and /v/ (for "v") are only found in Russian loanwords.
