Zorubicin (INN) is a benzoyl hydrazone derivative of the anthracycline antineoplastic antibiotic daunorubicin. Zorubicin intercalates into DNA; it as well interacts with topoisomerase II and inhibits DNA polymerases and therefore is used to treat cancer.^[1]^[2]
