Chemistry:4-Propylamphetamine

From HandWiki

4-Propylamphetamine (4-PrA)para-substituted amphetamine, serotonergic agent and potential psychedelic, belongs to the class of phenylalkylamines and substituted amphetamines.

It is a non-selective agonist of 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin) receptors of the 5-HT2 and 5-HT2C subtypes. The inhibition constant Ki for 4-propylamtephamine are 5-HT2C: 1250 nM (± 300) and 5-HT2: 2345 nM (± 700), respectively.[1]
