The core binding factor (CBF) is a group of heterodimeric transcription factors.
Core binding factors are composed of:
- a non-DNA-binding CBFβ chain (InterPro: IPR003417)
- Human: CBFB
- a DNA-binding CBFα chain (InterPro: IPR016554)
